YOUR FIRST VISIT
Visiting us for the first time? Congrats! You'll feel right at home real soon in the student ministry at First Baptist. You'll make friends in no time! Our host at the welcome center will show you where our Student Ministry meets when you arrive. We can't wait to meet you!
WHAT WE TEACH
Your students will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles, but is always based on God's Word. The goal at FBC Students is for them to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They'll have a lot of fun!
SAFETY
Leaders at FBC Students are trained to create an atmosphere families can trust. Every volunteer is trained and screened (including background checks) and the students' hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. During activities, students use the buddy system, and there are always multiple leaders present.
CROSSWALK?
Jesus said that anyone who wants to follow Him needs to deny themselves, pick up their cross daily, and follow Him. To deny ourselves and pick up our cross is to completely surrender to God and completely identify with Jesus.
CrossWalk describes a life of following Jesus: experiencing His love, obeying His direction, enjoying a relationship with God the Father, and even suffering as Jesus did.
