Are you a student in 6th-12th grade?

CrossWalk Student Ministry at FBC welcomes you! You're invited to enjoy weekly Bible study, worship, activities, and deep friendship.

CrossWalk meets on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 AM before the main service and on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 PM. You'll also have the chance to join other students at planned events like bowling, canoeing, video game nights, all-nighters, Underground Church, WOL summer camp, retreats, and cookouts! Check out our events!

Visiting us for the first time? Congrats! You'll feel right at home real soon in the student ministry at First Baptist. You'll make friends in no time! Our host at the welcome center will show you where our Student Ministry meets when you arrive. We can't wait to meet you!

Your students will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles, but is always based on God's Word. The goal at FBC Students is for them to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They'll have a lot of fun!

Leaders at FBC Students are trained to create an atmosphere where families can confidently entrust their students. Every volunteer is screened with background checks and the students' hallway is monitored by security personnel, as well as security cameras. On activities, students use the buddy system, and there will always be multiple leaders present. Don't worry parents - we're on your team!

Jesus said that anyone who wants to follow Him needs to deny themselves, pick up their cross daily, and follow Him. To deny ourselves and pick up our cross is to completely surrender to God and completely identify with Jesus.

CrossWalk describes a life of following Jesus: experiencing His love, obeying His direction, enjoying a relationship with God the Father, and even suffering as Jesus did.
